Bolkem Event Rentals is a luxury and modern event rental studio located in Whitehall, OH. Their inventory includes luxurious tables, seating, tableware, décor, electronics, and more.

the idea

Bolarinwa and his wife had the idea to start Bolkem Event rentals in 2020. They wanted to appeal to weddings and high-end events. Their style is classy and tasteful, perfect for their desired customer.

the process

Bola and his wife hired DZN to design a new logo and website to house all of their rental products. Bola worked with us to ensure images, taken by a professional photographer, were incorporated to show the personality of the brand.

brand strategy

The brand strategy was to show elegance at every turn. Those who are looking for wedding furniture and décor generally look for elegance for their memorable event. Customer service focus and ease of access was the strategy.

brand identity

The logo, base color palette, and imagery helped create the brands personality and compliment the new strategy.

logo design

The elegantly designed logo identifies the brand and its purpose. The serif and non-serif fonts give the feeling desired by the owners. The submark design is simply a serif ‘B’ that can be used for smaller digital spaces.

typography

The fonts Quakiez Display and Montserrat were used on all digital and print materials. The absent lines of the Quakiez Display font brings a unique modern touch.

color palette

A series of soft pinks and burgundy were the colors chosen to deliver the simple modern design. Soft pinks and white were mainly used for background displays of products and more.

social marketing

Instagram is Bolkem’s main form of communication with their customers. This is how they show new products, communicate sales, and find new customers.

print design

Traditional business cards and a grand opening flyer was designed for print.

web design + development

The website was specifically designed with a vertical navigation. This was chosen to keep the focus on the products and give a special experience to the customer. Starting with over 50 products, we focused on showcasing them as clearly as possible. The site is also fully responsive and features booking and RFP capabilities.
