Paloma Healing offers a confidential space for one to experience wellbeing in mind, body, and spirit. Practitioner Sheila Sheppard provides private sessions to relax and balance your chakras with Reiki, or tap into the power of your subconscious mind through music-based healing.

the idea

Sheila Sheppard, Reiki and Music-based Healing Practitioner, wanted to start serving her community by offering her services. She wanted to make the brand feel calm and inviting to anyone slightly interested.

the process

Sheila hired DZN to design a new custom logo and build a fresh new website. After the site was complete the logo was used on various items for marketing.

brand strategy

The brand strategy is to make her potential customers feel like they were home. Healing customers come because they are looking for relief in one way or another and it was best to make them all feel welcome in the same way that Cape Charles, VA made Sheila feel.

Sheila asked to keep the brand design whimsical and personable. The logo, base color palette, and imagery helped create the brands personality.

The Paloma Healing logo was hand drawn to add whimsical touches and feathers.

The fonts Digory Doodles and True North were used on all digital and print materials.

Colors of the beach were chosen to achieve the soft and calming feel of the location of the business, Cape Charles, VA.

The website was designed to display all the available healing services and also feature a blog for healing news updates. The site was also fully responsive.
